So you've decided to try Uber-ing and signed up for an account. You've rented a car, and you're all ready to go! Or are you?
Check out this list of items you should bring with you to ensure your drive is smooth!
1. Handphone mount
2. Car charger with USB cable ($2 from Daiso works, but it is barely enough to keep my battery from draining. My Remax brand has 3 ports so I can charge my phone, camera, and have 1 spare for passengers to use if they need)
3. In-car camera (optional)
4. Water bottle
5. Enough small change (because customers always pay by cash on days you don't have change)
6. EZ-Link card to unlock the car
7. Credit card to get discounts if you need to put petrol. Petrol kiosk membership cards are free to sign up when paying for your petrol (good to know for first-timers)
8. Cash card (to exit some car parks; most of the time your CEPAS EZ-Link card is sufficient)
EDIT: 9. Handsfree earpiece (to call passengers)
EDIT 2: Check out part 2 for additional tips. Too lazy to open the link? Sneak peak: you need a portable charger and preferrably a Bluetooth headset for safer driving.
